Gorillaz - Most Listened to Band on The Internet

A British survey has found Gorillaz to have been the most listened to band on Myspace for 2008. They've come in ahead of heavy weights Oasis, Coldplay and Amy Winehouse. The survey also found that Madonna's 4 Minutes was the most viewed video, just ahead of The Verve's Love Is The Noise.

Gorillaz is an animated band, driven by Blur frontman Damon Albarn. In related news, Albarn's Blur have recently announced their reunion after a five year break. Their comeback show at London's Hyde Park next July sold out within minutes.

This is the 2008 Top 10 for artists with the most myspace friends.
